The prices below are starting prices for a simple portrait — a single subject, the face and a little of the shoulders, on a neutral background, as in the portrait of St. Sophrony of Essex. For more complex versions see the extras at the end. Sizes other than the ones listed are available on request.

Extras
More complex versions
Extras are fixed percentages applied to the base price of the portrait.
Extras are cumulative up to a maximum of +100%. For detailed jewellery or accessories and for full-length portraits, the amount is set after we talk. Estimates in the order form are rounded down to multiples of 50 lei.
Retouches: one retouch is included in the price — small adjustments after you see the photo of the finished piece (a feature, a shade, a detail). Each further retouch costs 10% of the base price, rounded to 10 lei, and does not count towards the +100% cap. Major changes (a different composition, adding or replacing a person, redoing the background, another reference photo) are not retouches and are agreed after we talk. With watercolour, retouches are very limited; for icons they are agreed after we talk.
